This series of four was completed over one week and utilized the wet-on-wet technique, all based on Bob Ross’ paintings.
Northern Lights, completed October 12, 2016, using water-soluble oils. Unvarnished, 16×20 stretched canvas

Nightly Falls, completed October 16, 2016, using water-soluble oils. I used black acrylic for the base and once dry, coated it lightly with a phthalo blue and sap green mixture to use the wet-on-wet technique. Unvarnished, 16×20 stretched canvas
Shadowed, completed October 19, 2016, using water-soluble oils. I completed this one in 2-2.5 hours from start to finish…. Coated the canvas in black gesso then once dry, added a light mixture of sap green and phthalo blue utilizing the wet-on-wet technique. Unvarnished, 16×20 stretched canvas
