Working on a new painting. I started this about 2 weeks ago and am finally back at it. I hope to finish the under painting this evening. I hate when so much time passes between paintings. Using water-soluble oil on a 18×24 stretched canvas. This is the first time I’ve sketched directly onto the canvas so am excited to see how it turns out.

I gave another art lesson yesterday. It’s crazy wonderful that even though I’m still learning (actively/consistently painting now for only 7 months), friends and family want to paint with me/lessons. I absolutely love it! It’s so much fun working with others even when you are still learning yourself.
Can’t wait to see how this one looks when finished. I love sunflowers.
